What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m pumped to be here with you today! Today is day 70 of 100.

Every 10 days we’re going to be taking a step back to reflect with a recap.

Gauging your pace is a critical step on your journey to accomplishing your BIG goal, so without further ado, let’s dive in!

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night. 

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal? 
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now? 
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Our 10-day recap allows us to gauge our pace and make adjustments if necessary.

When you chose your goal to focus on and we set a 100 day timeframe, we gave ourselves a goal date.

So in relation to where you want to be on day 100, and where you are right now in terms of your progress, how do you feel?

In order to gauge our pace we’re going to do the following: 

  1. Write down 3 goals you accomplished over the past 10 days
  2. What’s 1 surprise accomplishment from the past 10 days?
  3. Write down your top 3 goals for the next 10 days.
  4. Write down a habit you’ll implement over the next 10 days.

Again, by keeping track of our progress we’re able to pivot or make adjustments to help us hit our goal in 100 days. Also, these recaps allow us to celebrate wins on our journey to accomplishing our BIG goal.

If you’re ready to get serious about the saying, you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with from Jim Rohn, then you’re in the right place.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?

  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Are there people you’re spending time with right now who aren’t on the same page as you?

What you think about, talk about, focus on, your confidence, your outlook, your mood, your perspective … every one of these things is deeply influenced by the people you choose to spend your time with.

Think about those you’re choosing to spend your time with, and if you find that there are certain people who aren’t helping you accomplish what you want in life, then perhaps it’s time to reevaluate the time you spend with them.

When I set out to uncover exactly what my perfect day looks like, it was a powerful exercise. It gave me a crystal clear picture of exactly how I want to be spending my time, who I want to be spending my time with, and where I want to be.

And guess what? When you know these things, you can take precise actions to help make them a reality. When you can see it, you can create it.

So set aside some time today to think about your perfect day. Take out a piece of paper, or type it out on your computer: what does your perfect day look like?

What’s something in your life you absolutely LOVE, but that you don’t feel you get to do that often?

  • It might not be possible for you to experience it RIGHT NOW, but what steps can you take today in order to get yourself one step closer to doing that thing?
  • And when you do get to do it - how does it make you feel?
  • Are there things you’re doing in your life right now that make you feel free?

There are so many questions we can ask ourselves and experiences we can reflect on that can help us uncover a lot - that can help us truly understand ourselves better, and what’s most important to us.

And when you know answers to these questions, you can more easily call it into your life by taking the steps necessary every day to have more freedom - whatever it means for you - in your life.

If you’ve never taken the time to sit down and write out what makes you happy, I think it’s time!

Grab your journal, a piece of paper, or your computer and set aside an hour. When you think you’re finished - keep going. You might need a 5 minute break - there are no rules. No format.

Just ask yourself “What makes me most happy?” and start writing.

I think you’re going to love what you discover about yourself - and I’m so excited for you to start making decisions and choices led by your clarity around happiness.
