What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m pumped to be here with you today! Today is day 30 of 100.

Every 10 days we’re going to be taking a step back to reflect with a recap

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now?
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Our 10-day recap allows us to gauge our pace and make adjustments if necessary.

When you chose your goal to focus on and we set a 100 day timeframe, we gave ourselves a goal date. So in relation to where you want to be on day 100, and where you are right now in terms of your progress, how do you feel?

In order to gauge our pace we’re going to do the following:

  1. Write down 3 goals you accomplished over the past 10 days
  2. What’s 1 surprise accomplishment from the past 10 days?
  3. Write down your top 3 goals for the next 10 days.
  4. Write down a habit you’ll implement over the next 10 days.

I hope today’s recap was helpful for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m ecstatic to be here with you today! Today is day 29 of 100.

If you’re ready to tackle setting realistic expectations, then you’re in the right place.

Setting realistic expectations will make a world of difference in your day-to-day life. Instead of ending your day feeling disappointed and resentful over the things you weren’t able to accomplish, you can end your day having accomplished EVERYTHING you set out to do, which builds powerful momentum and confidence.

Every time you’re evaluating the time and the resources you have available, remember to be realistic. You set the expectations you have, which means you have the power to change those expectations at any time.

I hope today’s episode all about expectations came at just the right time for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m fired up to be here with you today! Today is day 28 of 100.

If you’re ready to finally give meditation a go, then you’re in the right place.

Whatever form meditation takes for you is great. It doesn’t have to look any certain way. The most important thing is that you’re taking time each day to clear your mind, to be fully present. To just be.

So if you’re not currently setting aside time for this, then how can you start today? What do you think meditation looks like for you?

If you need some help getting started, there are some great meditation apps, podcasts, books, guides… and starting there doesn't mean that’s always what meditation has to look like for you. But if it helps you find your own form of meditation, then that’s the goal.

I hope today’s episode all about meditation came at just the right time for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m so happy to be here with you today! Today is day 27 of 100.

If you’ve ever struggled with sleep, then you’re in the right place.

Sleep is such a critical part of our overall well-being. The health benefits, in addition to what it allows you (or prevents you) from being able to accomplish any given day are HUGE.

One of my favorite books on the topic that was a game-changer for me - and that got me thinking about my sleep in a new way - is Shawn Stevenson’s book Sleep Smarter.

Grab Shawn’s book, and you can thank him (and me) once you implement the incredible tips he shares throughout!

I hope today’s episode all about sleep came at just the right time for you.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m thrilled to be here with you today! Today is day 26 of 100.

If you’ve ever struggled with unplugging, then you’re in the right place.

When’s the last time you intentionally unplugged in order to serve yourself and those around you even better?

What would it look like for you to be able to accomplish this?

It might not be a camping trip. It might keeping your phone in airplane mode for the day. It might be setting side 4-5 hours one day per week to go for a hike or walk in nature without any devices. It might be calling Sunday your day away from the computer - no TV, no internet, no phones.

Unplugging looks different for everyone, and if you’re not doing it on a regular basis, I highly encourage you to consider what that might look like for you.

You’ll be amazed at how you’ll come back feeling stronger, more focused, and more passionate about what you do - and so grateful for the new perspective!

I hope today’s episode all about unplugging came at just the right time for you.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m pumped to be here with you today! Today is day 25 of 100.

Every 10 days we’re going to be diving into a great quote. ‘Cause who doesn’t love a great quote!?

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now?
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Alright, now for today’s quote… this one is from Jim Rohn:

“It doesn’t matter which side of the fence you get off on sometimes. What matters most is getting off. You cannot make progress without making decisions.”

After reading this quote, I realized how my low opinion of my decision making skills was affecting my progress in so many different areas of my life.

One thing I discovered during this time is that I had been viewing decision making as something you do, with the result either being “right” or “wrong”.

And so I asked myself, what if it wasn't about being right or wrong? What if it was just about making a choice, and moving forward?

I hope today’s quote came at just the right time for you.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m ecstatic to be here with you today! Today is day 24 of 100.

If you’re ready to embrace  SAYING NO, then you’re in the right place.

NO ONE is in charge of your time except for YOU. And therefore, no one else will ever value your time the way that you do. So, if you want more time, you - and you alone - have the power to start saying no so that you get it back.

Always give yourself time and space to consider opportunities, and you can do this by thanking the person for thinking of you, and letting them know you’ll get back to them after you’ve checked your schedule.

And a NO doesn’t have to be so black or white!! It might be a “no” to the thing they’ve asked of you, but perhaps there’s another way you can participate or support a cause, just like we’ve done with Palmas Animal Welfare.

I hope today’s episode all about SAYING NO came at just the right time for you.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m so happy to be here with you today! Today is day 23 of 100.

If you've ever struggled with getting into a good reading routine, then you’re in the right place.

It might not be reading for you… there might be another routine in your life that’s been less than ideal - that you’ve been wanting to improve for a long time now.

Take a step back and ask yourself “What’s an easy way I can make this happen?”

Chances are a very small change could make a huge impact!

I hope today’s episode all about reading routines came at just the right time for you.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m FIRED UP to be here with you today! Today is day 22 of 100.

If you’ve ever struggled with having too much floating around in your head at alllll hours of the day, then you could use a brain dump.

Trying to remember every little thing that pops into your head throughout the day is really tough.

The more information you try and hold in your head, the less space you have for the focus and discipline that’s so critical to helping you reach your goals. Plus, don’t you want to remember all the amazing things you want to do in a given day, week, or month?

And remember, the beauty of brain dumping is that it’s incredibly simple. So don’t over complicate it. If you don’t use a time management platform currently, then just do it with a pen and paper!

No more trying to remember, no forgetting to do something, and more mental space for you to focus on the present.

I hope today’s episode all about brain dumping came at just the right time for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

Identifying your true priority is quite simple. Get all your tasks and ideas out on paper, consider your BIG goal and the time you have available to focus on your business tasks today, and place your tasks in order.

Once your tasks are in order, set your time blocks and get to work!
