What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m pumped to be here with you today! Today is day 50 of 100.

Every 10 days we take a step back to reflect with a recap.

Gauging your pace is a critical step on your journey to accomplishing your BIG goal.

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now?
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Our 10-day recap allows us to gauge our pace and make adjustments if necessary.

So in relation to where you want to be on day 100, and where you are right now in terms of your progress, how do you feel?

In order to gauge our pace we’re going to do the following:

  1. Write down 3 goals you accomplished over the past 10 days
  2. What’s 1 surprise accomplishment from the past 10 days?
  3. Write down your top 3 goals for the next 10 days.
  4. Write down a habit you’ll implement over the next 10 days.

Again, by keeping track of our progress we’re able to pivot or make adjustments to help us hit our goal in 100 days.

Also, these recaps allow us to celebrate wins on our journey to accomplishing our BIG goal.

I hope today’s recap was helpful for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m ecstatic to be here with you today! Today is day 49 of 100.

If you’re ready to learn about how to avoid the sunk cost bias, then you’re in the right place.

Faced with feeling like you’re up against a sunk cost, and wondering if you should continue even though you know it’s not the right project to move forward with?

I’m here to tell you that you DON’T have to continue, and that recognizing a sunk cost and NOT moving forward on it can result in more time, energy, effort, and money for OTHER projects.

Missing out on something or letting something go can certainly be tough, but how empowered will you feel when - as a result - you’re one step closer to accomplishing your BIG goal?

I hope today’s episode all about sunk cost bias came at just the right time for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m fired up to be here with you today! Today is day 48 of 100.

If you’re ready to learn a quick and easy way to re-prioritize your tasks, then you’re in the right place.

There are going to be days where you set your to-do list and you have your time blocks, but then things don’t go as planned.

Maybe one of your tasks ends up taking longer than expected - or you are interrupted by something that can’t wait, and so you’re not able to finish everything you had set out to do.

Taking time to re-prioritize your tasks is a critical step on your journey to accomplishing your #1 goal. Otherwise, you could be pushing off tasks that are necessary for you to make progress without even realizing it.

Take time at the end of each day to ask yourself, “What are the to-do’s I have on my list to accomplish tomorrow, and given what I wasn’t able to complete today, how do I need to reprioritize tasks so I continue moving one step closer to my goal?”

I hope today’s episode all about re-prioritizing your tasks came at just the right time for you.

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?

  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Take a look at some of the things you do that constantly feel like a battle - whether that’s deciding what to have for breakfast, choosing your outfit for the day, or how you engage on social media.

Remember, there are a lot of everyday decisions you can turn into commitments in order to save your decision making bandwidth, so that when you are faced with a really BIG and important decision, you have the clarity and space to make a great decision.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m thrilled to be here with you today! Today is day 46 of 100.

If you’re ready to finally stop second-guessing yourself, then you’re in the right place.

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?

  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Do you second-guess yourself, too?

If yes, does your list of “what happens” look similar to mine?

It’s not often we take the time to step back and ask ourselves what the consequences are of some of our bad habits.

But now that you can see all the negative things that come from doing this, it’s time to start making a strong effort to recognize when you start to second-guess yourself, and remind yourself of all the negatives that come along with it.

If you’ve ever struggled with completing your to-do list, then you’re in the right place.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

When we’re faced with challenges like this one, sometimes asking ourselves very simple questions can reveal powerful answers.

So ask yourself, “Why do I think I’m not able to complete my to-do list every day?”

We just reviewed 5 possible reasons why this is happening on a recurring basis, and I hope that this will help you uncover not only why it’s happening - but also how you can fix it so it doesn’t keep happening.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m fired up to be here with you today! Today is day 43 of 100.

If you’re ready to start timing your tasks, then you’re in the right place.

When we have a warped sense of how long it takes us to do something, our time management might as well be non-existent.

When you time your tasks, you’re not only practicing Parkinson’s Law and holding yourself accountable, you’re also gaining valuable feedback about how long it takes you to accomplish certain things.

Overwhelm is a result of having too many things on our plate - or having things on our plate that end up taking us more time than expected.

That overrun on time, or the excess of to-do’s, forces us to either not show up the way we want to, or to completely miss out on accomplishing what we said we wanted to.

Start timing your tasks, and you won’t have to worry about those types of days anymore!

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m so happy to be here with you today! Today is day 42 of 100.

If you’re ready to do a deep dive into your values, then you’re in the right place.

When’s the last time you sat down and really thought about your values - actually written them down and declared them?

When Brene Brown was talking about the happiest most successful people knowing off the top of their head exactly what their 1 or 2 values were, I thought - ok, now is the time!

So, what are my two values? Freedom and Commitment.

What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m thrilled to be here with you today! Today is day 41 of 100.

If you’ve ever struggled with being in alignment with your goals, then you’re in the right place.

First, let’s call on our 5 questions

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now?
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

Visioning yourself having accomplished your goal is an awesome exercise. Seeing yourself there, feeling what it feels like, witnessing what has changed once you accomplish your goal: it’s going to help guide you the entire way - and help you build the confidence and motivation necessary to stay on track when things get tough.

Once you start practicing visualizing, ask yourself this: “Is what I’m doing right now on a day-to-day basis what will help me get to where I want to be?”

If the answer is no, then it’s time to make a change.

Sit down and write out the tasks, activities, and things you need to start implementing and practicing and doing in order to make your vision a reality.

I hope today’s episode all about alignment came at just the right time for you.
