What’s up my Kate's Take listeners! I’m fired up to be here with you today! Today is day 43 of 100.

If you’re ready to start timing your tasks, then you’re in the right place.

First, let’s call on our 5 questions.

These questions are the bookends to your day - answer 1 and 2 in the morning, and 3 - 5 at night.

  1. What’s one thing I’m grateful for?
  2. What’s one thing I’ll accomplish today that will bring me one step closer to my goal?
  3. What’s something that’s working well for me right now?
  4. What’s something that’s not working well for me right now?
  5. How can I either solve what’s not working right now, or get rid of it?

When we have a warped sense of how long it takes us to do something, our time management might as well be non-existent.

When you time your tasks, you’re not only practicing Parkinson’s Law and holding yourself accountable, you’re also gaining valuable feedback about how long it takes you to accomplish certain things.

Overwhelm is a result of having too many things on our plate - or having things on our plate that end up taking us more time than expected.

That overrun on time, or the excess of to-do’s, forces us to either not show up the way we want to, or to completely miss out on accomplishing what we said we wanted to.

Start timing your tasks, and you won’t have to worry about those types of days anymore!

As always, don’t hesitate to reach out to me and share your wins - and your struggles. I’m kate@eofire.com or katelerickson on Instagram

We’re also have conversations DAILY about our 100 Day Goal Challenge in our private Facebook Group - visit EOFire.com/facebook to join us today.
